Summary:=20
The Accountant will perform monthly Accounting functions, assist in the Com=
pany=EF=BF=BDs ERP implementation project and administer the Company=EF=BF=
=BDs benefit plan.

Essential Functions:
=EF=BF=BD=09Responsible for month-end general ledger closing and the produc=
tion of related reports including monthly financial statements.=20
=EF=BF=BD=09Perform reconciliations of all General Ledger balances ensuring=
 proper classifications of balance sheet and income statement items.=20
=EF=BF=BD=09Responsible for accounts receivable records, past due accounts,=
 accounts payable & check issuance.=20
=EF=BF=BD=09Prepare monthly commission reports, and quarterly royalty repor=
ting.
=EF=BF=BD=09 Assist the Project Team with the implementation of a company w=
ide ERP package.  Assist in the conversion of data and the creation of new =
financial and operational reports within the chosen ERP package.
=EF=BF=BD=09Complies and analyzes data and prepares forecasts for cash flow=
 and budgets.=20
=EF=BF=BD=09Completes year-end audit and tax information.=20
=EF=BF=BD=09Maintain employee handbook.=20
=EF=BF=BD=09Administer company benefit, PTO, payroll and human resource pol=
icies.
=EF=BF=BD=09Provide administrative and accounting support for 401(k).=20

Requirements_Qualif: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
=09Strong foundation in accounting, internal controls and reporting skills,=
 firm understanding of GAAP accounting standards.=20
=09Experience with benefit plans and HR administration is a plus, but we wi=
ll train the right person.=20
=09Experience with system implementation is a plus.
=09Good communication, analytical & problem solving skills=20
=09Ability to prioritize many different requests and meet deadlines.=20
=09Ability to interpret business needs from the accounting functions, and t=
ranslate those needs into action in the accounting department.
=09Experience in the apparel industry is a plus.=20
=09Ability to investigate and analyze information to draw conclusions and s=
olve difficult, data heavy problems is desired.
=09Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive materials and information=
 is a must.

Education:
=20
=EF=BF=BD=09Bachelors in Accounting required.
=EF=BF=BD=093-5 years of accounting experience.
=EF=BF=BD=09Working knowledge of computers including all Microsoft applicat=
ions.
