Responsibilities
Maintain routine contact with existing customers to provide a proactive lev=
el of monitoring=20
Provide current customer sites with information about future product direct=
ions, upgrade opportunities and future planning.=20
Prepare quotes and proposals for all potential sales of new and upgrade pro=
ducts=20
Respond to all RFI=EF=BF=BDs and RFP=EF=BF=BDs=20
Conduct In-house and on-site demonstrations of product offerings to hospita=
l personnel=20
Develop and maintain the Company=EF=BF=BDs demonstration systems, tools and=
 documentation=20
Ability to stay current on all MedPlus applications and hardware configurat=
ions=20
Other duties as assigned=20
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to utilize prior hospital experience to match MedPlus=EF=BF=BD prod=
ucts with the hospital=EF=BF=BDs needs=20
Ability to demonstrate, position and discuss software applications in front=
 of large groups=20
Ability to work professionally and cooperatively with many different people=
 at various levels both internally and externally to accomplish responsibil=
ities=20
Ability to understand and configure high end software applications and comp=
licated  hardware configurations to meet customer=EF=BF=BDs needs=20
Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within Healt=
hcare and Information Technology fields.=20
Minimum Requirements
=20

Minimum 4-6 years  RHIA or Hospital Information Systems experience required=
=20
BS in IT related field preferred or relevant experience=20
Familiarity with Oracle (or other database platforms) and UNIX=20
Familiarity with Mid-Range Servers, RAID/SAN technology and associated peri=
pherals=20
Prior sales, training or presentation experience preferred=20
Proficient in the use of Excel and other MS Office applications=20
Strong communication skills (both oral and written)=20
May require up to 30% travel=20
