We are currently seeking multiple Text Graphics Integrator's for our
client in Dayton, Ohio.

 

Skills 

Knowledge and understanding of the basic principles of markup languages
(one or more of the following: SGML, XML, and/or HTML). 

Ability to create and apply markup tags (SGML, XML, and/or HTML). 

Knowledge and understanding of the basic principles of SGML DTDs and
associated publishing components (i.e. FOSI or XSL components). 

Ability to create complex electronic documents and templates for use by
writers according to customer and internal specifications using
publishing software. 

Knowledge and understanding of the basic principles of databases, some
practical experience. 

Ability to effectively and accurately create and apply styles and
formatting to text within documents. 

Ability to create tables, headers, footers, cross-references,
indexes/indices, and book files in publishing software. 

Ability to find and correct obvious misspellings and omissions. 

Ability to effectively and accurately communicate job challenges with
those in supervision and management, and to others within the team. 

Possess adequate knowledge of related fields; including technical
illustration, technical writing, and cataloging/provisioning to engage
in difficult cross-discipline dialog. 

Ability to reasonably estimate amount of personal effort required
satisfying production requirements on each assigned project/program, and
to meet or exceed expected rates of production. 

Ability to communicate effectively on a technical and interpersonal
basis. 

Ability to perform effective file maintenance and file management
including saving, naming, backing up, folder placement, deletion, and
archiving. 

 

Preferred:

One to two (1-2) years experience with creation, development, and/or
maintenance of structured data components including schemas, DTDs, as
well as data publishing components including FOSIs and XSL technologies.


One to two years experiencing developing user support/training materials
and documentation including user guides, training manuals, help files,
etc. 

Experience or familiarity with  implementation/development/utilization
of military/aviation/commercial specifications or business rules
(S1000D, ATA iSpec, MIL STD 40051, MIL STD 3008A, MIMOSA, etc.).   

Experience with scripting languages, database development, UI
development or other programming languages.
