ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
=EF=BF=BD=09Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods.

=EF=BF=BD=09Analyzes operational data such as production costs, scrap, manu=
facturing process issues and field complaints to define and implement conti=
nuous improvement activities.

=EF=BF=BD=09Utilizes continuous improvement and structured problem solving =
techniques to improve manufacturing operations.

=EF=BF=BD=09Confers with planning and design staff concerning product desig=
n and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.

=EF=BF=BD=09Confers with vendors to determine product specifications and ar=
range for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates product=
s according to specifications and quality standards.

=EF=BF=BD=09Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and related c=
osts to provide information for management decisions.

=EF=BF=BD=09Recommends Waste Free methods for improving worker efficiency a=
nd reducing waste of materials and utilities such as restructuring job duti=
es, reorganizing workflow, relocating workstations and equipment, and purch=
ase of equipment.

=EF=BF=BD=09Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding=
 manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations=
 to facilitate production processes.

=EF=BF=BD=09Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing re=
quirements and potential.

Requirements_Qualif: =EF=BF=BD=092 year degree in Mechancial or Manufacturi=
ng Engineering.
=EF=BF=BD=093-5 years experience with thermoforming processes, foaming (PU)=
 and assembly process support.
=EF=BF=BD=09Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
=EF=BF=BD=09Strong verbal and written communications skills.
=EF=BF=BD=09Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma or other statist=
ical anlysis tools are preferred.
