We load over 2= billion rows per week in subject areas such as scanning movement, shipment= movement, performance contracts, DSD invoices, Risk Management, Competitiv= e Pricing, and Human Resources. We have a 9-12 month assignment to design, development, & implement ETL job= s in the data warehouse environment. The toolset that we use is KSH, SQL, = and Ab Initio. This is an application analyst / programmer position, it i= s not a unix administration position. Essential Job Duties: =EF=BF=BD=09Complete design and development of ETL processes =EF=BF=BD=09Support the current and future process that load data weekly an= d daily=20 Location:=20 Requirements_Qualif: Job Requirements: =EF=BF=BD=09Must have strong UNIX shell scripting in KSH, AIX preferred. =EF=BF=BD=09Knowledge of UNIX utilities as Sed, Awk, Grep is a must. =EF=BF=BD=09Must have strong SQL skills, DB2 UDB preferred. =EF=BF=BD=09Must have experience in a UNIX batch environment as an applicat= ion developer. =EF=BF=BD=09Must have strong oral and written communication skills. =EF=BF=BD=09Must have strong analytical skills. =EF=BF=BD=09Must be able to work in a team environment. =EF=BF=BD=09Must be able to handle multiple tasks concurrently. =EF=BF=BD=09Experience developing programs in the C language is a plus. =EF=BF=BD=09Experience in a Mainframe batch environment a plus. =EF=BF=BD=09Experience with Data Warehouse ETL tools, Abinitio, Datastage o= r Informatica a plus. =EF=BF=BD=09Experience with very large data sets and moving data amoung pla= tforms a plus. =EF=BF=BD=09An understanding of Data Warehouse concepts, technologies and a= pplications.
