Job Description:   Buyer, The Shepherd Chemical Company, to join Supply
Chain/Logistics Team.  Reports to Purchasing Manager.
Job Requirements:
- Continually improve the quality and cost of raw material and indirect
supplies purchasing processes.  Responsible for $10-$20M in annual
procurement.
-Provide outstanding support to Materials Management, Production and
Shipping teams
-Best candidate will demonstrate a "whatever it takes" attitude with a
reputation for great communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
-The best candidate will have experience with a manufacturer (preferably in
the chemical industry)
- The best candidate will be proficient with Microsoft Office software
- The best candidate will have experience in electronic Enterprise CRM
software - SAP preferred.

Shepherd  Chemical Company utilizes a Network PC based computer system (SAP)
as well as Microsoft products, proficiency is required in Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, and Outlook.
