Examples of Duties Performed:
This list of duties is not exhaustive, and duties may be added, deleted
or changed at any time without notice.
 
1.    Sell advertising time and space on Channel 9, WCPO.com and
KYPOST.com as well  as various other new media products to direct
businesses and advertising agencies.
2.    Develop new business by prospecting new accounts and cold calling
on existing businesses. 
3.    Propose/negotiate rates and ratings.
4.  Prepare and present comprehensive marketing proposals utilizing
various market research, and in some cases suggested television
creative.
5.   Perform ongoing client service, including but not limited to order
confirmation, order insertion, and account collection.
6.    Interface with the Traffic Department, concerning orders,
contracts, inventory and copy.
7.    Interface with the accounting Department for billing and
collections.
8.   Perform other duties as needed and directed by sales management.
 
Requirements:
Education:                 College degree preferred.
 
Experience:               Must have at least one year of advertising
sales experience. 
 
Equipment:                Computer literacy required.
 
Skills/Abilities:           Candidate must possess good communication
skills, both written and verbal.  Candidate must be a quick learner,
assertive and self-motivated.  Honesty and integrity as well as a strong
work ethic a must.
 
License:                     Must possess a valid driver's license,
proof of insurability and good driving record.
