JOB OPENINGS- Week of April 21, 2008
EXECUTIVE CHEF (Full-time, varied and rotating hours, weekends required)
Management of kitchen personnel, coaching, counseling, training, scheduling
and general supervision of all related culinary activities. Cost control
while ensuring quality control and maximum guest service. Menu item pricing
in accordance with all food production activites. Maintenance of targeted
food costs while ensuring quality standards and adherence to all applicable
food safety and sanitation laws and regulations. Order of all food products
in compliance with Company standards, purchasing contracts, stock rotation
and invertories.
. Associates degree or related, with at least 3-5 years industry and
culinary management. Excellent computer, written and verbal communication
skills.
PM RESTAURANT MANAGER (Full-time, varied and rotating hours, weekends
required) Estimates food and the beverage costs and requisitions or
purchases supplies. Confers with food preparation and other personnel to
plan menus and relate activities such as dining room and bar. Inspects food
and food preparation to maintain quality standard and sanitation
requisitions. Review financial transactions and monitors budget to ensure
efficient operation, and to ensure expenditures stay within budget
limitations.
. Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or
technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or
training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
MAINTENANCE ENGINEER (Full-time, must be available for all shifts, weekends
required) Ensures that the property's guestrooms, public space and back of
the house areas are in good repair by performing various tasks related to a
variety of maintenance trades including, but not limited to carpentry,
electrical work, plumbing, dry-wall repair, vinyl repair, air conditioning,
and masonry. Visually inspects and detects items needing repairs to ensure
an attractive and well-maintained property.
. High school diploma and a minimum 1 year related experience required.
ROOM ATTENDANT (Full-time, 1st shift available, weekends required)
Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the hotel rooms. Cleans
bathtub, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces following
all safe chemicals handling procedures, strips and makes beds using fresh
linens daily, vacuums entire room, replenishes amenities, dusts and polishes
furniture.
. Previous hotel cleaning experience required.
LOBBY ATTENDANT(Full-time, must be available for all shifts, weekends
required)
Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel premises in a clean
and orderly manner by collecting soiled linens, cleaning rooms, hallways,
lobby areas, and restrooms. Sweep floors, washes windows, and empties
trash.
. Must be able to lift at least 25lbs. Previous cleaning experience
required Must be able to lift a minimum of 30lbs.
LAUNDRY ATTENDANT (Full-time, 1st and 2nd shift, weekends required)
Responsible for loading and unloading laundry in washers and dryers. Sorts
and counts articles to verify quantities on laundry lists. Folds and irons
laundry.
. Must be able to lift a minimum of 30lb.
LEAD GUEST SERVICES AGENT (Full-time, must be available for 1st & 2nd shift,
weekends required) Completes a variety of duties in the front of the house
to facilitate efficient guest services. Checks guest in and out of hotel
following proper procedures including cash handling, accounting and bell
procedures. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in lieu of AFOM or FOM.
Upgrades guest's bases on their expressed needs. Must be knowledgeable
regarding hotel's services and its surrounding area. Excellent customer
service skills a must.
. Customer service in a hotel, retail or airline environment required.
POOL ATTENDANT (Full & Part- time hours, flexible shifts between 7am-10pm,
weekends required) Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the pool
area. Collect trash, clean bathrooms, sweep pool area. Give towels and
other pool amenities to pool guests and dispose of dirty towels, take food
and beverage orders from pool guests.
. Previous cleaning experience required.
SECURITY AGENT (Full-time, must be available to work every shift, weekends
required) Ensures the safety and security of all guests and staff of the
hotel. Completes rounds of property on a scheduled basis. Initiates
follow-up on all investigations of crimes committed against property and
persons. Assists sick or injured guests, ensuring documentation and
disposition of disposition of reports.
. High school diploma and at least 1 year Security related experience
required. CPR and/or First Aid training preferred.
AM/PM SERVER ASSISTANT (Full-time, 6am-2pm, 4pm-12am or 5pm-1am weekends
required) Set up and clear tables, stock all service stations and assist
food servers with table service to ensure total guest satisfaction. Maintain
stock and cleanliness of all stations. Serve guest beverages, bread/butter,
etc.
. Previous restaurant experience preferred.
