MARKETING MANAGER

Great opportunity for an ambitious, experienced business professional 
that loves marketing and is interested in applying their marketing 
knowledge and experience to a variety of clients and marketing 
challenges. Playing a vital role in a young, growing marketing company, 
the candidate will assist the Director of Marketing Services in 
providing marketing and branding strategy services to its clients and 
also have the opportunity to help company develop its consulting 
business. The candidate will have a combination of skill sets, personal 
characteristics and on-the-job experience that are hard to find.

Here's what we need:

Experienced marketing professional with ability to develop, implement 
and manage marketing and branding strategies and integrated marketing 
communications plans for clients in a variety of industries.

Lead marketing strategy and brand identity development on behalf of clients.

Understands market research and has experience executing qualitative and 
quantitative research such as interviewing, surveying, focus groups, etc.

Manages the many details of multiple projects while establishing and 
exceeding client expectations.

Excellent writing, analysis, presentation skills.

Desire to help grow our business as well as our client's businesses.

Self-motivated, self-directed... with the ability to take ownership of 
situations, accomplish work with limited supervision and direction and 
manage projects to completion.

Ability to develop effective relationships and motivate client behavior.

Strong problem solving and time management skills, with the flexibility 
to adjust to changing and multiple priorities.

Can balance the need to work at a high 'consultant' level along with the 
need to do whatever it takes to get the job done.

Set high personal standards - willingness to learn and adapt and go the 
extra mile.

Candidate must be willing to:

Work overtime if needed - average work week is 50 hours. Long hours 
rewarded with bonus opportunity and work with a variety of clients and 
industries.

Possibly work at client site(s) approximately 2-3 days/week as the 
consulting business grows.

Candidate should be proficient with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. You 
should have 5-10 years experience in a business setting with practical 
marketing experience dealing with a variety of clients. An MBA is preferred.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a proven sales performer who can sell complex 
technology & consulting projects to Global 2000 customers. A 
demonstrated history of consulting and technology services' sales in the 
Midwest is mandatory.

Key position accountabilities and experience requirements:

* Develop and manage a pipeline of sales opportunities leading

* Negotiate complex contracts in context with solutions that advance the 
client's and the Company's strategic objectives-"win-win" deals.

* Independently drive revenue growth and profitability by identifying, 
qualifying, and closing sales.

* Develop and manage related sales plans for assigned accounts and 
territories.

* Partners with the Delivery teams to leverage knowledge and expertise 
with clients.

* Help identify emerging market requirements to influence/expand current 
company capabilities and future offerings.

Requirements

* Five or more years of consulting and technology services sales success 
primarily in the Midwest at the C-Level.

* Verifiable performance history of meeting and exceeding sales goals 
selling accounts in the consulting and technology services space.

* Excellent track record and strong comfort working across all 
functional areas including, but not limited to Retail, Finance, 
Insurance and Professional Services sectors -- and at all organization 
levels, including the "C" level, building coalitions to develop and 
obtain "buy-in" for business case driven operational change.

* Specific expertise with Business Intelligence and Corporate Governance 
a plus.

* Strong demonstrated sales leadership skills.

* Lead generation, prospecting and cold-calling.

* Independently develop and structure proposals along with related 
quotations

* College Degree Required

* Educate Company operations product delivery team regarding client 
business situations, goals and needs.

* Cultivate high retention and repeat business rates.

* Ensure effective representation of client needs acting as client 
advocate including proactive participation in client planning meetings 
and communication of client goals and objectives.

* Demonstrate superior communication and presentation skills - written 
and oral.

* Facilitate and ensure timely and quality response to client inquiries.

* Consulting/Delivery Experience.

* Strong contacts in Cincinnati, Dayton and Northern Kentucky, as well 
as a broad Midwest and National experience.

Compensation:

* Salary (Commensurate with experience) + Commission (No Capitation)
