[jsfg_cinti] Job Fair feedback

Greetings All;
 

We hope that each of you found something positive in attending yesterday's
JSFG Job Fair. You certainly gave something positive.

 

I spoke with each and every participant and to a person they were grateful
to have been invited and very impressed with the professionalism of each
JSFGer they came in contact with. They were pleasantly surprised with the
"traffic" to each of their tables. Many reported having taken resumes,
finding strong candidates for positions they have, and a few had even set-up
appointments. Each said that many folks came up to thank them or have a
discussion even if there did not appear to be a skills-interest match - they
appreciated your warmth, candor and professionalism. 

 

They liked the details they received in advance. Many commented that the 2-3
minute intro was a good thing for them (hopefully it was for you also). And
virtually every participant expressly asked to be invited back to future
JSFG Job Fairs - this is good!

 

In summary, there were 15 groups represented at the Fair; an estimated 80-90
of you who visited with the participants; and few non-JSFGers attended, many
of whom promised to attend our meeting next Monday.

 

That applause you hear in the background is our appreciation for you showing
up, for being professional, and for representing yourself and JSFG in a most
positive way! You served yourselves and the JSFG organization very well, and
those who will follow in our footsteps. Clap-clap-clap!!
