Job Purpose:

Ensures database performance by planning, developing, managing, and securing 
databases.  Develops stored
procedures as necessary for use by software engineers in product development. 

Duties:
  * Meets enterprise requirements by planning and developing database 
structure; developing database
utilization policies, procedures, security, backup, and recovery. 

  * Maintains design structure by directing implementation of SQL standards and 
guidelines. 

  * Completes platform upgrades and migrations by issuing instructions; 
monitoring performance;
coordinating actions.  

  * Maintains data integrity by establishing standards; monitoring performance. 
 
  * Maintains database performance by developing tuning methodologies. 

  * Provides development support to software engineers by developing stored 
procedures as necessary. 

  * Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing database 
performance and trends. 

  * Accomplishes department and organization mission by completing related 
results as needed. 

Requirements: 
  * Proven MS SQL 2000 Experience
  * Created View, Procedures, Functions
  * Database Administration
  * Windows 2000 and IIS
  * Database Performance Tuning
  * Mid/Senior level software development skills 
  * Strong interpersonal skills
  * Excellent troubleshooting skills 

Pluses: 
  * HTML, Javascript and CSS
  * Visual Studio experience with C# and .Net
  * Visual Source Safe and MS SQL Express
  * Property Management industry experience
