[jsfg_cinti] JSFG & The Circuit

Dear JSFGers;
I recently met with Matt Mountain and Randy Davis of NextGen Consultants, an
IT consultancy firm (http://nexgenconsultants.com). Matt has presented to
JSFG members on the power of referral letters and the how's of networking.

Both Randy and Matt are very involved with The Circuit, and are in the midst
of organizing an IT Job Search Circle.  This is a monthly networking event
exclusively for IT professionals seeking jobs and is structured specifically
for IT job search. The first Circle is scheduled for Wednesday, August 13, 8
? 9:30 am at the Health Foundation in Rookwood.  The Circle will augment The
Circuit's Career Center, which includes  a job posting board. The Circuit is
the Information Technology Association of the Cincinnati Region

In support of the JSFG mission we will work with Matt, Randy and the Circuit
to build a mutually productive relationship between the organizations. They
will point folks to JSFG and will email a list of job opportunities across
our broadcast email service several times a month. We will promote Circle
events and encourage our IT professionals to engage with Circuit leaders and
programs as a source of networking, skill enhancement, and finding
opportunities.

This is part of the JSFG outreach program to help members learn, connect and
collaborate.
