Good morning,
We have a potential opportunity for an interim VP of Finance. This is not a
firm project, but we are in the hunt to capture it. Specifics for the
project are identified below. If you believe you are a great fit, please
reply with a one paragraph summary describing your experiences in the
following areas. If you do not provide a short summary, we will not be able
to present your experiences.
1. 5-7+ years experience as a financial executive, with global finance
responsibilities
2. Willingness to spend extended time in Germany (this is very important!)
3. Manufacturing experience

Location
The person selected for this position will be working out of the Cincinnati
Corporate Headquarters. An initial temporary assignment in Germany of up
to 12 months is currently under consideration to work with the company
President who is currently working there.
Position Summary Overview
Plans, organizes, directs and controls the finance and accounting functions
for worldwide operations to maximize profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Initiates and administers plans for the financial control of operations.
Such plans provide profit planning, sales forecasts, expense
budgets, accounts receivable, cost standards, saving opportunities, and
capital investing, together with the necessary controls and procedures to
effectuate the plans.
Compares performance with operating plans and standards. Provides reports
and interprets
the results of operations to all levels of management. This includes the
formulation of
accounting policies, the preparation of financial statements and operating
data, the
coordination of systems and procedures, and special reports as required.
Forecasts short-range and long-range cash requirements and obligations, as a
basis for
maintaining adequate funds, routinely communicating with the Corporate
Finance
and Treasury departments.
Assures protection for the assets of the business through internal control,
internal auditing,
and timely financial analysis and reporting.
Assists Marketing in establishing and maintaining product pricing policies.
Requirements
Minimum of BA in Business/Accounting; MBA highly desirable
Must be an Experienced Executive (5-7+ years) with a track record of
financial and operational leadership. Significant P&L, asset & working
capital management, planning, analysis, and administration experience on a
global scale- multiple sites. Demonstrated experience and success with
process re-engineering, team building and financial systems implementation.
Demonstrated ability to promote and deliver change.
