Last Monday Tony announced a new workshop series available to JSFG members.
Here are the details.

New Beginnings: A Career and Personal Development Workshop

As we grow and evolve over time, it is not uncommon for many of us to reach
a point where our current vocation no longer seems an appropriate fit. "New
Beginnings" is a six-week workshop designed to guide those in career
transition through the process of re-assessing and redefining their values,
interests and abilities. Through readings, exercises and group discussions
in a supportive environment of those who are also engaged in the process of
self discovery, participants develop a greater self awareness that will
enable them to recognize vocational possibilities that they had previously
not considered.

By the end of the workshop, participants will have determined and set goals
for pursuing alternative career possibilities.

Group facilitators are mental health counselors with group experience who
have each made a career switch in mid life.

SCHEDULE: Six Monday evenings, Nov. 10 to Dec. 15, 7:00 ? 9:00 pm

LOCATION:  Social Hall, HPCUMC (1st floor)

COST: $72.00

REQUIRED MATERIAL: "What Color Is Your Parachute?" (2009 edition), Richard
Bolles.
(Instructor will make bulk purchase via amazon.com for approximate cost of
$13.00 per copy.)

NOTE: Enrollment is limited.  A minimum enrollment of 8 participants is
required to hold the workshop.

Fees will be payable by cash or check to Poppy Evans at the first session.
