[jsfg_cinti] It's A Start...

I wish I could take credit for the Feedback Roundtables/Discussion Groups that 
took place in the meeting today, November 10.  But they were initiated by 
Barbara Wilson and others.  More importantly, they were successful thanks to 
all of you who participated.
Any positive changes go through a process--knowledge gathering/problem 
identifying; action; and, improvement.  We still are in the first phase.  
However, that doesn't mean that we can't begin some actions for improvements.

Here is what I intend to do:

SHARE WITH EVERYONE VIA LIST-SERV THE KEY POINTS OF MY REPORTS TO THE STEERING 
COMMITTEE.  The steering committee meets every two weeks and the next meeting 
will be November 17.

WITH THE APPROVAL OF THE STEERING COMMITTEE, APPOINT AND ANNOUNCE THE NAMES OF 
PROJECT MANAGERS FOR IMPORTANT ISSUES.  At one point I considered saying that 
commitment and patience are needed.  But patience is not a virtue when change 
is possible.  So I'll say commitment and INVOLVEMENT are needed.  

JSFG is a unique and wonderful organization.  It will be even better if more 
individuals become involved--that is the biggest change needed.  If YOU get 
involved, we can make a great organization even better.
