Position:           MARKET RESEARCH SPECIALIST

Department:     Marketing

Reports to:       Director of Marketing

 

GENERAL PURPOSE
Responsible for creating and delivering market research services to support 
marketing and branding strategy for a variety of clients. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
§   Lead market research activities for branding and marketing strategy 
projects.   

§   Direct market research initiatives with developing interviewing questions, 
conducting interviews, developing and coordinating client surveys, coordinating 
focus groups and competitive and industry analysis.   

§   Conduct/ lead market research initiatives on behalf of clients and present 
key findings/conclusions to clients.

§   Assist with marketing plan development through research and exploration of 
marketing tactics and work with Account Executives and Creative Team when 
appropriate. 

§   Handle many details of multiple projects while establishing and exceeding 
client expectations. 

§   Stays abreast of changes in the market research environment to best serve 
the objectives of the organization and adjusts marketing process accordingly. 

§   Act as a marketing resource to rest of the organization through employee 
education and market research processes.

§   Support Account Team on execution of market research tactics.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES: FUNCTIONAL
§   Proficient with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

§   Advanced level writing, analysis, presentation skills.

§   Advanced skill level executing qualitative and quantitative research, 
compiling and analyzing market research data, drawing and presenting key 
conclusions that apply to an organization's marketing and branding strategy.

§   Strong team-working skills with the ability to collaborate with clients, 
vendors, and internal team members while following direction to achieve client 
specifications.

§   Strong problem-solving and time management skills, with the flexibility to 
adjust to changing and multiple priorities.

§   Ability to develop effective client relationships.

§   Intermediate level understanding and ability to apply a large variety of 
marketing and branding concepts, practices, and procedures.

 

SKILLS and ABILITIES: MANAGEMENT
§   Able to handle multiple projects and prioritize workload to maintain 
multiple client deadlines.

§   Able to self-manage small to medium-sized market research initiatives: set 
milestones and timeframes. 

 

REQUIREMENTS
§   Bachelor degree in Marketing or Market Research.

§   2-5 years experience in a market research business setting with practical 
marketing and research knowledge dealing with a variety of clients and/or 
working on client side.

 


Position:           MARKETING COORDINATOR

Department:     Marketing

Reports to:       Director of Marketing

 

GENERAL PURPOSE
Assist and support the Marketing Dept. with implementing marketing programs. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 
§   Handle many details of multiple projects while establishing and exceeding 
client expectations.

§   Apply market research assistance with developing interviewing questions, 
surveys, and coordinating focus groups.

§   Conduct and organize competitive and industry analysis on behalf of clients.

§   Assist in developing marketing plans by researching and exploring possible 
marketing tactics.  

§   Prepare status reports on marketing efforts.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES: FUNCTIONAL
§   Proficient with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

§   Entry level writing, analysis, presentation skills.

§   Strong team-working skills with the ability to collaborate with internal 
team to achieve client specifications.

§   Problem-solving and time management skills, with the flexibility to adjust 
to changing and multiple priorities.

§   Entry level understanding of standard concepts, practices, and procedures 
within the marketing field.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES: MANAGEMENT
§   Able to handle multiple projects and prioritize workload to maintain client 
deadlines.

 

REQUIREMENTS
§   Bachelor degree preferred in Marketing.

§   1-3 yrs experience in a business setting with practical marketing 
experience.


Position:           MARKETING SPECIALIST

Department:     Marketing

Reports to:       Director of Marketing

 

GENERAL PURPOSE
Responsible for creating and delivering marketing services to support the 
growth and expansion for a variety of clients. Self-manage small to medium 
sized projects. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
§   Lead brand and marketing strategy on behalf of clients. 

§   Direct marketing plan development through research and exploration of 
marketing tactics and work with Account Executives and Creative Team when 
appropriate. 

§   Potentially provide on-site marketing support services for one or more 
clients 1-2 days a week. 

§   Handle many details of multiple projects while establishing and exceeding 
client expectations. 

§   Stays abreast of changes in the marketing environment to best serve the 
objectives of the organization and adjusts plans accordingly. 

§   Apply market research assistance with developing interviewing questions, 
surveys, and coordinating focus groups and competitive and industry analysis on 
large sized projects.  

§   Act as a marketing resource to rest of the organization through employee 
education and marketing processes.

§   Support Acct. and Creative Team on execution of marketing/ promotional 
materials.

§   Conduct/ lead market research initiatives on behalf of clients and present 
key findings to clients.

§   Proficient with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

§   Intermediate level writing, analysis, presentation skills.
