Kforce is seeking an Infrastructure Analyst that will also work with
Interface Design. The Analyst will review and understand customer
requirements and specifications and translate the functional
specifications into technical requirements and designs.  The Analyst
will cultivate attitudes of open communication and team building while
sharing experience and research information.

 

General Responsibilities: 

Code and track time daily for all assigned tasks 

Maintain awareness of corporate policies and procedures as they pertain
to roles and responsibilities 

Suggest new and better ways of doing things 

Understand the cost and time constraints imposed by the project plan on
assigned tasks and raise flags whenever the likelihood of a cost or time
over-run becomes apparent

 

Requirements include:

Enhance existing technologies when appropriate 

Develop new Interfaces from provided HL7 interface specifications 

Develop test plans for new interfaces 

Basic understanding of project cycles, software development
environments, and source control techniques 

Knowledge of HL7 healthcare messaging standards (required) 

Excellent communication (written and oral) and teamwork skills 

Ability to identify, prioritize, and execute tasks to meet critical
project deadlines 

Ability to work with minimal supervision; adhering to overall department
and company procedures 

Good judgment and the ability to come up with solid solutions and
recommendations to a wide range of complex problems on their own 

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
or an equivalent combination of training and experience 

Strong knowledge of Siemens OpenLink, Tibco BusinessWorks

 

Documentation: 

Ensure that interface specifications are documented 

Ensure that documents and source code files are archived in version
control systems 

Provide interface installation, support, and training documentation 

Keep up to date with the latest version and changes to the HL7
specification
