Here are some of the details:
There is an an opening on the Workflow / Imaging team.  This has been posted 
and Recruiting is working on finding qualified candidates.   I just wanted 
to make sure that everyone is aware of this opening in the event someone 
internally might have an interest.  Or perhaps someone knows someone who is 
looking and might be a possible fit.

We need someone with solid VB skills and good SQL / database knowledge.  
Naturally, if we could find someone who also has experience on a workflow / 
imaging application, that would be great, although not essential.


Sr. Programmer Analyst ? Imaging System
The Senior Programmer Analyst is responsible for producing and/ or modifying 
computer programs of all sizes and complexity at the systems level, using 
the prescribed computer programming languages. In addition, they must have 
the ability to solve systems and program problems and recommend courses of 
action to take on new application jobs, while considering the total system 
spectrum, from source document origination to final systems output and 
handling. The Senior Programmer Analyst will also handle extensive research, 
analysis, definition and documentation on all facets of the job as well as 
recommend the appropriate hardware solution (Personal Computer, LAN, 
Mainframe, Client Server, etc.) for the application and Imaging interfaces 
and workflow processes.Position Duties: · Researches, designs, defines, 
develops, tests, documents, and implements new computer applications or 
changes to existing applications following Western & Southern Financial 
Group (WSFG) standards.· Installs software packages and/or personal computer 
software.· Assures that hardware and software operate efficiently.· Utilizes 
programming tools effectively to ensure accuracy and enhance productivity.· 
Assembles and analyzes data relating to processing problems, soliciting help 
as needed from IS and business unit associates.· Consults and/or advises 
business unit associates by written and/or oral communication on inquiries 
concerning existing or proposed systems.· Participates in committee meetings 
on developmental projects, large-scale improvement projects, and internal 
information services technical committees. May chair committees and/or 
subcommittees.· Provides training and mentoring to other programming staff, 
systems managers, business unit management or business unit associates on 
technical topics or systems definition.· Handles multiple assignments with 
multiple deadlines simultaneously and meeting specified target dates. . 
Ability to work with minimum supervision and make appropriate decisions when 
needed. · Performs other duties as assigned by management.Candidates will 
possess:1. Proven significant programming experience (e.g. research, design, 
gathering requirements, working with business units, developing programs, 
testing, documentation, production support).2. Proven experience in advising 
programming associates on both technical (e.g. writing programs, testing 
standards) and application (e.g. business knowledge, system definition) 
facets of the job. 3. Proven strong analytical skills, including 
demonstrated experience identifying and quantifying problems and providing 
effective resolutions.4. Very strong Visual Basic and ACCESS programming 
skills. Additional knowledge on HTML, Java or any other client server 
languages would be beneficial.  5. Experience on an Imaging system would be 
preferred.6. Proven experience with a Database system.7. Demonstrated 
experience working effectively within a team.8. Demonstrated excellent 
verbal and written communication skills with ability to convey information 
to internal and external customers in a clear, focused and concise manner.9. 
Proficient in word processing and spreadsheet applications.10. College 
degree in IS or related field strongly preferred.
