The IRS is in the process of hiring new Revenue Agents that will be starting
on August 7, 2006.   The announcement will open on June 19th and close on
July 1st.  Anyone interested should go to www.usajobs.com  between these
dates and apply.

The time frames are short.  I am not sure how many have been hired, but I
believe they will bring in 11 in total. These positions are for Exempt
Organizations Specialists.  In general, they work with charitable
organizations, perfecting applications and following up on advance rulings.
