Subject: I have a job for you

Due to recent resignations of several key officers of the Job Search Focus 
Group (JSFG), we need some new volunteers to step forward. (No one is committed 
for life, and it is well understood that personal situations evolve rapidly 
during a job transition). The blessing/miracle of JSFG is that for 10 years we 
have existed because people seeking jobs like you have recognized that their 
talents could benefit others in the same predicament of unemployment. The 
following positions are currently open, all with a maximum term of 6 months, or 
until you start your next career:

Internal Vice President - oversees the administrative/organizational aspects of 
JSFG
Secretary - Maintain record of Steering Committee meetings, and current 
officers roster
Treasurer - Collect & disburse funds for JSFG activities 

Before you delete this message, please consider the wisdom that is still 
obvious to me, that is: your job search is most likely to succeed when you stay 
active and keep networking during your unemployment. JSFG is well known and 
highly respected in the community today, and being involved in the leadership 
of our group is an excellent way to stay active and networking during your 
unemployment. I recommend that anyone and everyone consider getting more 
involved in JSFG. Whether or not you believe you are "leadership material," 
your talents are needed and welcome. And if your gifts and talents align with 
one of our current leadership positions, please let me know that you can help. 
Ultimately, you will be the most significant beneficiary of your own giving.
