[jsfg_cinti] Helpful Guidance and Reminder on Use of the JSFG Freelist

JSFG Members:

As President of the Job Search Focus Group, from time to time I have seen it
necessary to provide some clarity and reminders for all of us with regards
to the various services and resources we provide for JSFG member use.

Today's email is written within that spirit and pertains to the use of the
JSFG Freelist (Listserv) ... i.e. member to member bulletin board. Please
keep the following in mind when using this valuable asset:

1) A FreeList is a public domain in a sense that it can be found by search
engines like Google. Whatever you place in it stays there. We cannot
delete the message once it is received.

2) The primary intention for the Freelist is member to member and employer
to member communication. It exists for the communication of job openings,
support with informational interviews, networking event communication and
member communication from JSFG Leadership.

3) The content of the emails should stay close to core purpose as explained
above. It is advised that we take every effort to maintain the highest
degree of professionalism, since information published on our freelists
directly reflects JSFG image to the public. Therefore the sharing of jokes,
political statements and other messages not within the mission of JSFG
should be refrained from.

Thanks for your ongoing support of Job Search Focus Group....

As Always STAY FOCUSED!

Bob Daigneault
President
