changes that will make them more successful. Our client relies on Lean
and Six Sigma process improvement approaches to help the healthcare
industry streamline its process-driven activities while maintaining the
highest standards of quality care and patient satisfaction.  To further
our client's company goals and objectives, we are currently seeking a
Healthcare Business Development Leader.  This position is responsible
for developing and growing the client's healthcare industry process
improvement practice. 

 

Identify specific business development segment and prospect targets lead
business development activities and sales calls

Assess customers needs, scope projects and prepare consulting proposals

Deliver healthcare improvement consulting services if necessary

Provide leadership and management for the achievement of practice growth
and profitability targets

 

Essential Responsibilities:

 

Be a "rainmaker" !!! Create activity and business! Actively network to
develop relationships with personnel and organizations within the
healthcare industry leading to business opportunities. Assist with
identifying, cultivating and securing business.  

Participate in developing long-range strategies and near term tactical
plans 

Participate in objectives and goals that focus on bookings, recognized
revenue and economic impact for their healthcare practice.

Assess customers' needs and assist delivery staff to scope projects,
prepare consulting proposals, project plans, and project reports.

Build and maintain the confidence of client organizations by exposing
and educating them on best management practices and modern technologies
and their uses.  Prepare and present briefings and reports to top
management personnel at client companies.  Effectively interface with
client personnel at all organizational levels.  Manage project teams to
meet client expectations.

Establish and control project budgets.  

Estimated travel 25-50%.

 

Education/Experience:

 

MBA preferred.  Experience in Lean and/or Six Sigma preferred. Ten years
or more of clinical, administration and/or supervisory/management
experience specifically in the healthcare industry.  Hands-on experience
with Continuous Improvement practices desired.

Proficiency in software applications such as MS Office required in the
performance of job duties.  Experience in Visio, AutoCAD, simulation
tools, database applications, etc. a plus.
