ares reports and develops strategies to advise senior management in best pe=
rsonnel practices.  Guides employees, supervisors and management in matters=
 related to hiring practices, employee relations, policies and procedures, =
compensation and other H.R. issues.=0APrincipal Duties & Responsibilities:=
=0AManages all HR functions with emphasis on employee relations, compliance=
, training, benefits administration, policies and procedures.=0AAssures Clo=
vernook=E2=80=99s compliance with all applicable federal, state and local e=
mployment laws and regulations.  Works with H.R. staff to assure positive w=
orking relationship with DOL, EEOC, NIB, BWC, and other regulatory agencies=
.  Prepares governmental compliance requirements such as EEO-1, Vets-100 an=
d National Industries for the Blind reports.*   =0AOversees the preparation=
 of the Clovernook=E2=80=99s Affirmative Action Plan and serves as the EEO =
and HIPAA Officer.*=0AEnters appropriate data in ADP/HR software and genera=
tes necessary reports.=0AWorks closely with providers and TPA to present he=
alth and welfare benefits options for senior management approval.*=0ADevelo=
ps and updates job descriptions to ensure their accuracy.=0AEnsures the int=
egrity of the overall compensation system.  Rates positions, participates i=
n compensation surveys and develops wage and salary scales with both intern=
al and external consistency*=0ALeads the hiring process by recruiting, scre=
ening resumes, interviewing applicants, maintaining communication with cand=
idates and extending offers of employment.*=0ALeads New Employee Orientatio=
n and on-boarding process.* =0ADrafts, develops and communicates policies a=
nd procedures to assure compliance and effective operation.=0AOversees the =
organization=E2=80=99s performance evaluation process.*=0ADevelops and pres=
ents training programs and materials on a variety of H.R. topics for superv=
isors, managers, and employees. Coordinates with internal and external reso=

egree in Human Resources or equivalent combination of education and experie=
nce.  =0APHR or SPHR certification.=0AAbility to effectively communicate hu=
man resources concepts and issues to employees, supervisors and managers=0A=
Must be well organized and very detail oriented with the ability to follow =
assigned duties through to completion.=0AProficient P/C skills (MS Office, =
Word, Excel, Power Point etc.).  Must be able to generate reports from HRIS=
, convert to Excel documents and manipulate spreadsheets with formulas.=0AM=
aintain a high degree confidentiality of files, materials, and especially e=
mployee records.=0AValid driver=E2=80=99s license with no more than 5 point=
s on driving record and insured, reliable car available for on the job use.=
