We are currently engaged in a search to find the Global Director of
Information Technology for our client. The position reports to the Chief
Financial Officer and is the senior most information technology person in
the company. In this capacity they will be responsible for providing vision
and leadership for developing and implementing computing and information
technology initiatives for our client's operations worldwide. The Global
Director of Information Technology will lead the planning and implementation
of enterprise IT systems in support of business operations in order to
improve cost effectiveness, service quality, and business development. This
individual is responsible for all aspects of the Company's information
technology and systems, to include both distributed and centralized business
operations.

To be successful, the Global Director of Information Technology must also
partner closely with our Client's Executive Leadership Team to ensure the
seamless deployment of all enterprise IT applications and supporting
infrastructure necessary to achieve current and future business objectives.
Additionally, he/she will:
? Lead the IT Department and facilitate communication between staff,
management, vendors, and other IT resources within the organization.
? Be responsible for the management of multiple information and
communications systems and projects, including voice, data, LANs, WANs, and
office automation.
? Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of the systems that
support end users in the productive use of computer hardware and software.
? Oversee the development and implementation of User-training programs to
ensure IT capabilities are optimized.
? Maintain effective IT system security and back up procedures for the
Company.
