SEWER SYSTEM EVALUATION SURVEY COORDINATOR
 

The Ottawa County Sanitary Engineering Department currently has a job opening 
for a Sewer System Evaluation Survey (SSES) Coordinator.  Minimum 
qualifications include 10+ years experience in wastewater collection operations 
and maintenance with a focus on infiltration/inflow evaluation and remediation; 
an Associates Degree in an applied science or engineering related field; and a 
valid Ohio Commercial Drivers License.  Anyone wishing to apply for the

BRIDGE ENGINEER

 

The Montgomery County Engineer is responsible for the design, construction, 
operation, and maintenance of over 500 bridges, ranging from box culverts and 
single-span slabs to multi-span girder and arch bridges.  The county Bridge 
Engineer will be directly responsible for bridge replacement and rehabilitation 
programming, bridge inspection approvals, load rating calculations, overload 
permits, technical guidance and contract administration for consultant-designed 
bridges, and supervision of in-house bridge design and plan production efforts. 
 The successful candidate will provide structure reviews for other public and 
private infrastructure improvement projects, prepare applications to secure 
outside bridge program funding, pursue innovative bridge technologies, and 
support county staff in bridge maintenance operations.

 

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited university; minimum 
10 years experience in bridge design or management; PE and ODOT Level 2 bridge 
prequalification (or equivalent) required; able to work without supervision; 
direct technical, junior professional, and administrative staff; and complete 
responsibilities on schedule; must read, write, and speak fluent English and 
possess valid Ohio driver's license; and Master's degree and knowledge of 
AutoCAD or Microstation preferred

SENIOR MANAGER / FINANCE

 

The Greene County Commissioners seek a senior manager/finance for the Sanitary 
Engineering Department.  Under general supervision of the sanitary engineer, 
the senior manager/finance has general administrative control of, and 
responsibility for, all department fiscal operations, to include revenue and 
expense control, budgeting, purchasing, financial reporting, debt management, 
and various related functions; manages and directs finance office personnel and 
provides functional guidance and information to various other individuals, 
outside of the internal finance staff, on fiscal related matters.

 

Minimum Qualifications:  Bachelor's degree in accounting or business 
administration (with focus on finance, emphasis on governmental and budgetary 
accounting); and six years of progressively responsible experience; or, an 
equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully 
perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. CGFM 
(Certified Government Financial Manager) or CPFO (Certified Public Finance

Chief administrator of county child protective services agency.  Responsible 
for guiding mission to protect children from abuse and neglect and strengthen 
families; must ensure compliance with federal, state, and local rules and 
requirements.  Masters' degree and/or extensive management-level experience in 
child protective services required.  Strong background in agency management and

Darke County seeks an experienced economic development professional to serve as 
the executive director of the Darke County Economic Development office.  The 
executive director will be appointed by the Darke County Commission Board and 
will report to the Darke County Community Improvement Corporation.  Position is 
responsible for overseeing and implementing a bold series of economic 
development programs throughout the county; developing and leading specific job 
growth strategies in retention and attraction, as well as serving as liaison 
for various community development projects.

 

Qualifications:  Bachelors degree in marketing, economics, public 
administration or related discipline and experience in managing an economic 
development department.  Candidate must have superior communication and 
interpersonal skills.  Successful experience in economic development field 
including incentives, planning, project financing, marketing, land development 
and recruitment must be evident in background.  Salary range:  $65,000 to
