This is a full time hire for a company located in Florence, KY.

*Position:                     Logistics Manager*
* *

*Supervises:                 Both Hourly & Salaried Associates*

*Hours of Work:          Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m.*

*Qualifications:***

Ø  *BS degree in either Business, Supply Chain Management, Production
Planning & Inventory Control, Logistics, or a related degree.*

Ø  *Three to five years of warehousing and freight experience working in
either a distribution or durable goods manufacturing environment involving a
multiple location distribution network.*

Ø  *APICS certification preferred but not required.*

Ø  *Three to five years of managerial experience.*

Ø  *Experience with applying lean manufacturing and logistics
concepts.  Knowledge
of six sigma is preferred, but not required.*

Ø  *Excellent people management skills.*

Ø  *Computer Skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, QlikView.  Knowledge of JD
Edwards or equivalent ERP system required.*

Ø  *Excellent verbal and written communications skills.*

*Essential Functions:*

Ø  *Responsible for managing all aspects of the Toebben Drive warehouse
including Warehousing, Repack, Shipping and Freight.*

Ø  *Work with both the Production & Inventory Control and Sales groups to
assure inventory accuracy at Toebben and each remote warehouse.*

Ø  *Be accountable for the storage, handling of finished goods, and
operational performance at Toebben and the remote warehouses.*

Ø  *Responsible for reporting key operational performance to upper
management and appropriate associates on a periodic basis.*

Ø  *Responsible for negotiating all freight and warehouse contracts for
AALLC.*

Ø  *Responsible for following all AALLC policies and procedures appropriate
to their area.*

Ø  *Assist and/or direct other special projects as assigned.*
