I have signed up for the Greater Cincinnati Library Consortium's list

Today I attended the brainstorming session at the Parachute class as an
alumnus and recalled a few people expressing leanings (as I have had)
toward libraries and also children's programs or program planning in
general.

Children's Programmer
Kenton County Public Library
Introduction:
Kenton County Public Library is seeking a full-time Children's Programmer to provide programs and services for children ranging in age from infant to 12 years. Work hours are variable with some evening and weekend hours.
Responsibilities:
Plans, promotes, and implements quality programming for the juvenile public and their families. Provides information to patrons at the children's services desk and assists children in information gathering and research skills. Provides competent reader's advisory services. Maintains the children's collection by creating displays, weeding the shelves, and checking in new items. Plans, promotes and implements outreach programs with schools and other agencies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in child development, elementary education or other relevant field. Experience with children's programming required; knowledge of children's literature preferred. Excellent communication and public relations skills. Knowledge of and familiarity with computers, software programs and Internet usage.
Salary: Entry level is $12.86/hour, salary commensurate with experience. Excellent benefits package.
