for a nonprofit organization?<br><br>We are a public charity and international=
grant maker and we are seeking an experienced Director of Finance and
Administration.=
As the Director of Finance and Administration you will maintain the
financial=
integrity of our organization by insuring the accurate and timely
implementation=
and accounting of our finances and investments according to the policies=
and procedures developed by the Board of Directors; you will insure the=
accurate and up-to-date maintenance of all financial records' and you will=
provide assistance to the CEO and Board of Directors.<br><br>What will=
you be doing?<br><br>- Serving as the principle contact for all financial=
related inquiries from fund holders, donors, grantees, outside audit firms,=
vendors, investment managers, and board members<br>- Serving as a liaison=
with our CPA firm by preparing all required financial records and reports=
for the audit and tax returns<br>- Working with the CEO and other staff=
to prepare the annual operating budget for recommendation to the Board=
of Directors<br>- Implementing th fiscal statistics that meet U.S. accounting=
standards and satisfy the necessary standards of our organization<br>-=
Producing monthly updates and cash-flow forecasts<br>- Coordinating with=
the Financial Accountant in the UK to ensure that appropriate consolidation=
of our accounts is made<br>- Signing off on all reconciliations and financial=
management information entered in our online grants administration system.=
To produce, reconcile, and post donor advised fund and matched donor advised=
fund statements online for fund holders in accordance with an agreed protocol=
with our organization<br>- Processing online gifts and Funds set up via=
our website. Financial information must be checked for accuracy and relevance=
to the needs of a growing organization<br>- Acting as a compliance officer,=
particularly in coordination with the UK internal auditor to make annual=
checks ton controls and procedures to ensure that they are implemented=
according to required best practice standards<br>- Ensuring all appropriate=
external legal, statutory, and regulatory bodies are provided with the=
required information on a timely basis<br>- Assisting the CEO on completion=
of budgets, statutory and regulatory bodies are provided with the required=
information on a timely basis<br>- Overseeing correct book keeping with=
our nominal and subsidiary ledgers and the control of debtors creditors=
and petty cash<br><br>Job requirements and qualifications:<br><br>- Bachelors=
degree in Accounting or Finance, Masters degree is highly preferred<br>-=
Currently maintaining a Certified Public Accountant license<br>- 5+ years=
accounting experience<br>- 5+ years management experience within an accounting=
/ finance department<br>- Experience working for a nonprofit organization=
is a HUGE plus and is highly desired?<br>- Knowledge of GAAP and FASB
standards=
as they apply to nonprofit agencies<br>- Proven knowledge of accounting=
and financial systems<br>- Excellent project management skills<br>- Experience=
