GENERAL FUNCTION:
Assess needs, designs, develops and implements advanced education =
programs
for the Bancorp and affiliates, in alignment with strategic Bancorp and
Division initiatives. Assesses & prioritizes Divisional Education needs =

all Affiliates, works through Sr. Management to gain support for =
Education
programs. Coordinates employee education with Senior Management, =
Division
Managers, Human Resource Relationship Managers and Affiliate/Divisional
Education staff. Aids in the development and facilitation of complex =
courses
to support corporate and affiliate education needs. Provides internal
consulting support to facilitate the learning process and skill =
development.
Identifies performance gaps, interacts with senior management to conduct
need analysis and problem solving.
This position supports the Finance and Audit Divisions.=20
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
I. Assesses education needs and develops appropriate curriculum to =
support
those needs to achieve immediate and long-term goals.
A. Acts as internal consultant and works collaboratively with the =
management
team and Human Resource leaders to assess the needs of individual =
divisions,
departments and employees.=20
B. Works collaboratively with LOB management and education team to
assess/address Education needs relevant to Bancorp merger & acquisition
activity.
C. Coordinates with other LOB Education Managers to facilitate use of
cross-divisional training and resources where appropriate.
II. Facilitates education classes for non-exempt and exempt and senior
management employees.
A. Develops facilitator and participant guides, as well as, appropriate
multi-media classroom presentations.
B. Conducts Train-the-Trainer sessions for d esignated classroom
facilitators in affiliates.
D. Contracts with external providers/consultants as needed, customizes =
to
needs of Fifth Third Divisions.
III. Measures and evaluates effectiveness of education efforts and =
transfer
of learning through continuous communication with management, group
feedback, course evaluations and assessments.=20
A. Communicates regularly with Director of Education and management team =
to
assess current and future initiatives.
B. Creates and maintains communication structure with DivisionalTrainers =
in
all Regions/Affiliates.
C. Assesses creative alternative methods of delivering programs to all
levels of employees.=20
D. Performs measurement analysis on training programs to determine the
effectiveness of a program, assesses the best method of delivery or make =
any
necessary changes to a current program.=20
IV. Works closely with Senior Management and staff from other divisions =
to
ensure successful integrat ion/rollout/education of new systems that =
impact
the Division
V. Directs Divisional Education team members including instructional =
design,
facilitation and administrative resource teams.
VI. Coordinates logistics of education in affiliates and Cincinnati with
appropriate contact person(s).
VII. Participates or leads key education or HR initiatives.
VIII. Provides guidance and direction to less experienced education
consultants.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must have the ability to provide guidance and coaching to less senior
consultants. Responsible for providing employees timely, candid and
constructive performance feedback; developing employees to their fullest
potential and provide challenging opportunities that enhance employee =
career
growth; developing the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench
strength and succession planning; recognizing and rewarding employees =

MINIMUM, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Education: Bachelors degree required, Master's Degree Preferred
Experience: Years - Minimum of four/five years related experience in =
