  FSCreations, Inc., based in Cincinnati, Ohio, is the leading provider of 
time-saving educational software products for test preparation and 
administration, lesson planning, and student performance assessment for 
educators and educational publishers. FSCreations is a wholly-owned subsidiary 
of eInstruction Corporation, the leading provider of interactive response 
systems for the K?12 and postsecondary markets, based in Denton, Texas.
   
   
  Position Summary
   
  This is an entry-level position responsible for the final production and 
delivery tasks of products for publishers. Key responsibilities of the 
Assistant Project Manager  include uploading and downloading data, updating 
question bank files on both Windows (primary) and Macintosh (secondary) 
platforms, working extensively with Microsoft Excel and Windows Explorer, 
proofreading and quality-checking interim and final files, coordinating the 
work of and communicating with external contractors and creating final files 
from which customer-ready CD-ROM products are duplicated.  
   
  Responsibilities
  ·         Uses Windows Explorer to accurately copy and save files and folders 
to various locations on local hard drive and network drives.
  ·         Uses company-developed database system to accurately upload and 
download data and update records with new or corrected data.
  ·         Uses Microsoft Excel to accurately manipulate worksheet data, such 
as copying and moving columns and rows; creating accurate formulas to sum, 
count, and subtotal cell data; working with multiple worksheets and workbooks; 
and renaming and saving workbooks.
  ·         Uses software applications to manipulate item banks.
  ·         Uses Microsoft Word to effectively prepare correspondence, reports, 
and other documents.
  ·         Performs content validity checks and formatting checks on data as 
necessary.
  ·         Conscientiously proofreads and quality checks all interim and final 
files for accuracy.
  ·         Maintains project schedules in order to achieve targeted end dates.
  ·         Proactively communicates project status, issues, and concerns with 
team members and manager.
  ·         Proactively identifies and documents process improvements.
  ·         Diligently backs up all work.
  ·         Performs other work as assigned to ensure the success of the 
organization.

  Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
   
  Required:
  ·         Demonstrated PC skills:
  §         Ability to accurately manipulate (e.g., copy, rename, move) files 
and folders between hard drive and network drives using Windows Explorer
  §         Ability to accurately manipulate (e.g., insert/delete/copy/move 
rows, columns, cells; create formulas to sum, count, subtotal) worksheets and 
workbooks using Microsoft Excel
  §         Ability to accurately prepare correspondence, reports, and other 
documents using Microsoft Word
  ·         Willingness and aptitude to learn new software applications as 
required (e.g., ExamView Test Generator, company-developed database system)
  ·         Willingness and aptitude to learn the Macintosh platform as required
  ·         Exceptional ability to pay close attention to detail and quality, 
i.e., to proofread/analyze own work and to think critically and with depth to 
ensure accuracy
  ·         Ability to follow up, follow through, and document changes to work 
processes
  ·         Ability to organize time effectively, determine priorities, meet 
deadlines, and move work along
  ·         Excellent language skills (grammar, spelling, punctuation); ability 
to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
   
  Desired
  ·         Bachelors degree in office management, general business, liberal 
arts, or related course of study
  ·         Familiarity with ExamView Test Generator software application
  ·         Familiarity with Macintosh platform
  ·         Familiarity with presentation applications (e.g., Microsoft 
PowerPoint) and/or database applications (e.g., Microsoft Access)
