ANALYTICAL/ORGANIC CHEMIST
Florence, KY based plastics company seeks strong Organic/Polymer Chemist for 
work in our state of the art Analytical Laboratory.    BS in Chemistry 
required, MS or PhD preferred.   Strong preference for candidates with a 
minimum of three to five year's industry experience, and hands on expertise in 
running and interpretation of data from modern analytical instruments (NMR, 
GPC, GC, HPLC, IR, spectroscopy).  Strong wet chemistry skills are required.  
Polymers or plastics experience a plus. Experience with ISO17025 and ISO 
TS16949 a plus.  This is a "hands on" position. This individual will operate a 
wide variety of analytical equipment to provide technical data and support to 
product development and customer support. The individual must be self-motivated 
and have a continuous improvement mindset and sense of urgency.  Position will 
require the ability to work independently and as a team with a minimum of 
supervision; maintain accurate records; possess strong computer skills with MS 
Office, and the ability to present and interpret test data.  This individual 
will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work environment as well 
as performing equipment maintenance and repairs.  Salary is dependent on

Business Planning & Analysis Analyst

Florence, KY based plastics company seeks Business Planning & Analysis Analyst 
for position in their national headquarters.  This position will serve as 
liaison between the Finance and Sales & Marketing communities.  Knowledge of 
the engineering plastics and manufacturing specialty industry is a strong plus. 
 
MAJOR ACTIVITIES AND PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:       
1)       Acts as business partner advisor to Sales & Marketing; establish 
accountability to meet finance targets and objectives.
2)       Participate in business strategy development.
3)       Conduct business analyses projects to increase profits and/or 
productivity
4)       Provide competitive assessment and benchmarking information.
5)       Track financial results of related Six-Sigma projects.
6)       Coordinate flow of financial information between demand and supply 
functions.
7)       Serve as team member on company wide projects to streamline and 
improve finance systems & processes
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
1)       Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required; MBA and/or CPA strongly 
preferred
2)       Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in cost accounting, 
including manufacturing experience.
3)       Knowledge of US GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley financial requirements.
4)       Proficient in MS Office Suite and other software applications, i.e., 
SAP Business Warehouse.
5)       Financial modeling and analysis skills are required.
6)       Demonstrated strategic planning experience and Key Performance 
Indicators (KPI) knowledge.

CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
 
Location:                                 Florence, KY

 

General Function

Execute on Order-to-Cash, Complaint-to-Resolution, and provide integrated order 
services for 50+ primary customers by coordinating efforts of Logistics and 
Production Planning.

 

Position responsibilities include:

·          Accurate and timely management of sales order entry, confirmation, 
fulfillment, and invoicing for 50+ primary customers

·          Drive Past-Due performance of customers together with Credit and 
Sales.  

·          Make sourcing, inventory, and delivery decisions to coordinate 
efforts of warehouse, planning, logistics and credit to ensure timely and 
accurate shipments.

·          Maintain customer master contact data in SAP.

·          Communicate market intelligence to Sales, Marketing, and Planning; 
act as Voice of the Customer for Ticona. 

·          Actively promote use of E-channel ordering to existing customers and 
train new users on web ordering.

·          Simplify and standardize processes using Lean and Six Sigma tools.

·          Provide seamless coverage for team members' accounts.

·          Cover customer service lines approximately 3 times per month; shift 
hours 9am to 6pm.

*Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years experience OR 10 years customer service 
experience in related industry

*Professional, self-motivated individual

*Ability and willingness to work in a team based environment

*Excellent verbal & written communication skills

*Ability to think out-of-the-box and initiate change
