dear friends of the Northminster Job Search Group:

for the next two weeks, the Family Life Center job search group at 703
Compton Road will have a special speaker, marianne fernandes.

marianne is a certified trainer, and president-elect of ASTD (American
Society for Training and Development).

on monday june 17 at 130 pm, marianne will do a presentation on Behavioral
Interviewing.  participants will have a chance to practice how to put their
"best foot forward" in the interview, and how to answer those tough
questions.

the following monday, june 24, marianne will conduct an extended session on
the Myers Briggs Temperament Inventory from 1-5 pm.  during this session,
participants will have an opportunity to take the Myers-Briggs test, then
marianne will show us how to self-score our own test.  the rest of the time,
marianne will explain the typology and what your score means in terms of how
you like to be treated, how you generally think and treat others, and how
you like to be managed.  you will learn what makes other types "tick" and
how you can more successfully interact with them.

we are asking a $15 donation for the cost of the test, but this is
VOLUNTARY, don't hesitate to ask for a scholarship, since we know that money
is tight for job seekers.
