DMinSite is a leading provider of outsourced e-commerce solutions to
companies within the consumer and B-to-B direct marketing industry. DMinSite
helps its clients increase web sales by providing a powerful,
database-driven web platform in combination with consultative management for
all of their online marketing – web, email, search engine, affiliates, etc.
DMinSite currently works with 29 catalog websites plus one of the nation’s
largest newsletter publishers. DMinSite was launched in 2000 and has
operated at a profit every year since inception. The company is based in
Cincinnati, Ohio.
General Responsibilities
The Account Manager is responsible for providing effective management of the
client relationship and support to maximize client e-commerce revenues and
profits generated through website, email, search engine, and affiliate
marketing programs. The Account Manager works in coordination with client
contacts as well as the DMinSite Account Director and other internal staff.
Specific Responsibilities
* Prepare and analyze weekly online sales and performance reports for each
assigned client.
* Analyze site keyword search reports to identify “gaps” in search results
and maximize sales generated through site search.
* Provide Account Director with recommendations on how to increase the
client’s online sales and enhance the customer shopping experience based on
sales data.
* Assist the Account Director to develop and manage a calendar of client
email campaigns.
* Work with internal staff to ensure accurate and timely set up and delivery
of client email campaigns, including automated emails (e.g., order
confirmations.)
* Set up, test and analyze paid search engine keywords.
* Provide recommendations to client and Account Director on additional
search engine keywords that should be tested.
* Provide client support for affiliate marketing programs to report on sales
results and supervise the receipt and delivery of data files with the
affiliate.
* Implement results of seasonal analysis of product sales data to
prepopulate client sites with up-sell items matched to most products.
* Ensure accurate and timely collection and application of opt-in and
opt-out email addresses to each client’s email database.
* Provide client with site maintenance administration screen training and
methods
* Coordinate actions with internal staff (Site Development, Programming) to
ensure that new site features and selling functionality is added to client’s
sites as requested.
* Coordinate actions with the client and internal staff to ensure that data
contained on client-provided input files (e.g., catalog
mailout tapes, new product information, etc.) is loaded accurately and on a
timely basis into internal databases.
* Support client as requested to create new marketing keycodes, set up
special offers, add/subtract products from the site, and re-merchandise the
site (e.g., featured products) through the administration screens.
* Provide other assistance as requested by the Account Director.
Reporting Relationship
Position reports directly to Account Director.
Experience & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have two or more years of business experience and a
Bachelors degree. The Account Manager position requires a high degree of
attention to details and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks in
parallel to meet deadlines.
Required:
* Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to interpret marketing and sales data and make recommendations to
boost site sales and shopper satisfaction
* A history of academic and professional accomplishments
Preferred:
* Direct marketing experience involving direct mail and/or online marketing
techniques
* Prior experience with managing client relationships
* Experience with Microsoft Access
Compensation: Base pay with annual merit increases.
Travel: Not required.
