Friends at jsfg,

     I don't know if you need more info on a job opening than this, but I 
received a tip on the way home from Monday's meeting.  A company called Xtek, 
on Reading Rd, in Sharonville, is a global leader in manufacturing and 
refurbishing milling equipment such as mill rollers and mammouth gear boxes.  
AK steel is one of their biggest customers.  The engineering member of jsfg 
will want to check this company, too. 

     The manager of the refurbishing plant let me know this morning (3/29) that 
he has been approval to hire a "move man" (or woman, I suppose).  This job 
includes moving machinery and boxes thoughout the plant with jacks, fork-lifts, 
and overhead cranes.  I've seen it - its a dirty job.  The pay, from what I 
remember, was in the vacinity of 35/yr.  The drawback for me was that they work 
50 -60 hours a week.  Although the OT would be nice, there's no choice on OT, 
and it would have left me with no time to explore other employment that is 
truly in my seach field.
