The notice on XU's alumni networking breakfast didn't have the location or 
time.  I checked with them and it will be held at the Cintas center on campus @ 
8:00 a.m.  For those who have attended before this is the usual time and 
location.

Xavier Monthly Networking



The unofficial start of summer was this past weekend with the Memorial Day 
holiday.  I hope that you were able to find some time to enjoy it.



This month?s Networking Group will meet the second Friday of June, June 8th. 
 

Rick Johnston will discuss SCORE.   SCORE (Service Core of Retired Executives) 
is a volunteer arm of the Small Business Administration.  They are a non-profit 
that provides counseling to small businesses at no charge.  They also provide a 
series of small business workshops at a minimal charge.  The Cincinnati Chapter 
covers Hamilton County, Butler County, Clermont County, Northern Kentucky, and 
a portion of eastern Indiana.  They currently have sixty five members and 
interact with more than 2000 clients a years.  The Cincinnati Chapter is 
recognized by the national SCORE organization as one of its outstanding 
chapters by winning the Chapter of the Year in 2005 and being runner up in the 
Chapter of the Year competition in 2006.  Nationally there are about 400 
Chapters with more than 11,000 members. More and more, they are getting new 
members who are still employed in the work force.  Rick tell you a little more 
and inform you of potential volunteer opportunities with SCORE.



Of course we will have our usual time for personal announcements and networking 
as well.
