TITLE: VP Sales
LOCATION: The company is headquartered in the Boston area, and the client
would prefer someone already living in the area, but will relocate the right
candidate. The client will NOT consider someone who works remotely.
COMPANY: Enterprise storage software product company. The company just
completed its Series B. There are about 3 people on the sales team right now
and revenues are nominal.
COMPENSATION: Total compensation is estimated to be around $250k.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Must have already been a VP &/or Director at a software &/or storage
company. This is an ABSOLUTE requirement, so specific and detailed
information must be able to be easily referenced on your resume.
· Significant experience selling software and storage is required. This is
an ABSOLUTE requirement.
· The company just completed its Series B. There are about 3 people on the
sales team right now and revenues are nominal. Need a VP who can roll up
his/her sleeves and sell as well as manage and grow the team. Must have
someone who has already grown sales from nominal revenues to multi-million
dollar revenues in a start-up environment. This is an ABSOLUTE requirement.
· Prefer someone with experience selling into financial services,
healthcare, biotech &/or insurance.
· Need someone with direct, OEM and channel sales experience. Direct is most
important at this point.
· Need someone to start in the position as soon as possible.
