Job Function:
Implement and coordinate various recruiting strategies to ensure that
appropriate staffing goals are met as needed.
Responsibilities:
? Develop, implement and coordinate various recruiting strategies (ex. Job
fairs, job postings, career seminars, summer student program, co-op, job
shadow, etc.)
? Administer and track the hiring process (ex. Interviews, background
checks, drug screens, testing)
? Process request for temporary personnel.
? Establish relationship with local schools, colleges and employment
agencies to ensure that recruiting strategies meet EEO/AAP guidelines.
? Maintain and update job descriptions.
? Assist with preparing documentation and spreadsheet for unemployment
claims and hearings.
? Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
. High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in Human
Resources, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field, required.
. Two to three years experience as a Recruiter.
. Solid knowledge of interviewing techniques, strategies and employment law.
. Intermediate to advanced PC and internet skills; experience with
PeopleSoft and Brass Rings or related databases preferred.
. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
. Good analytical/problem solving skills with strong attention to detail.
. Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills are
required.
. Reliable source of transportation needed to drive to and from various
recruiting events, meetings, etc.
* Note: This is a temporary assignment expected to last approximately 12
months
