The positions have 2 month duration with possibility of extension. THIS IS AN IMMEDIATE NEED!!! Duties require accuracy, judgment, a high degree of initiative, and sound technical understanding of one or more ES&H disciplines. - Develops program elements that provide direction for the implementation of the Project ES&H execution on a project. - Confers with supervisors on ES&H matters to ensure that work plan procedures are in conformance with Bechtel, customer, and governmental requirements. - Recommends corrective action, and advises supervisor and responsible management of actions taken. - Recommends acceptable work practices and ensures their implementation. - Analyzes occupational safety and health requirements and develops methods of control. - Execute other ES&H duties as assigned by ES&H management. Bachelor's Degree in ES&H disciplines or related science/engineering area preferred; and/or equivalent experience thorough understanding of the knowledge described above. Knowledge of safe work practices and experience in conducting accident investigations, OSHA, DOT compliance, insurance audits, workers' compensation, and project health surveys.
