headquarters in Dayton, OH.  We are primarily in the Yellow Pages publishing
and advertising sales business, with related ventures in national YP agency
sales, Internet YP, customer contact centers, and sales consulting.  We
publish 791 directory titles for over 100 telcos in 48 states.

UNIX Environment

Berry has 8 Sun and 11 HP UNIX servers, using Oracle and Informix databases,
running internally supported applications that are customized to Yellow
Pages industry.  Other products used in our UNIX environment include
MicroFocus Cobol for UNIX, Connect:Direct (NDM) for UNIX, Maestro, CA
eTrust, Glance/PerfView/MeasureWare, iPlanet, Tripwire and OmniBack.

Requirements/Skills/Experience/Responsibilities

Bachelor's Degree.
Five years experience in UNIX System Administration.
Demonstrated ability to work as a technical leader with less experienced
team members.
Extensive knowledge of SUN Solaris (primary) and HP/UX (secondary) in
backup/recovery, performance, tuning, troubleshooting, capacity planning,
and security.

Experience evaluating, installing, and customizing software products.
Develop and maintain shell scripts to enhance automation of UNIX
administration and operations.
Diagnose problems in operational environment.
Develop system recovery procedures and perform system recovery as required.
Assist in developing BC/DR plans and execute regularly scheduled tests.
Excellent teamwork skills, proven customer interface skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
Travel required.
