POSITION: Senior Director of Sales for the East Coast. Initially, this =
position is an individual contributor position. The company is growing =
quickly, so there is a possibility of advancement based on performance. =
But, no promises will be made at this time. Must have the ability to =
take a role as an individual and work closely with other team members. =
Ideally, client would like to hire someone that can grow into the East =
Coast VP Sales role. Someone that could build/grow a team while managing =
an individual quota too.=20
COMPANY: Growing, pre-IPO application management software company.=20
LOCATION: Client must have someone already living on the east coast =

COMPENSATION: Annual base salary will be around $100k and $225-250k on =

PERSONAL SUMMARY: This position reports to the VP of Product Strategy =
and Marketing, who oversees all sales and sales strategies. He describes =
his management style as very collaborative, and team oriented. He does =
not believe in micromanagement. He believes in cross functional, shared =
leadership. He needs someone who already has an established rolodex and =
can hit the ground running. He needs someone who is at the level to be =
able to manage oneself and eventually build out a sales organization.=20
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:=20
. Must have recent experience as a Regional Sales VP/Director/Manager =
and/or Regional Sales Executive for a public and/or a startup enterprise =
software company.=20
. Must be able to list Fortune 1000 companies, large enterprise software =
companies and/or application management companies where you have you =
closed deals with in the last 5 years. (Particular sectors of interest =
to the client include: Financial Services, E-Commerce, E-Business, and =
Process-Centric Businesses - e.g., Manufacturing, Logistics, =
Transportation, Pharmaceuticals. Financial Services is of most interest =
to the client!)=20
. Must be able to outline 5 deals that you have closed within the last =
five years with one of the companies you just listed.=20
. Quota will be around $1M a year, so need someone who can close at =
least 3 deals a year. The average deal size for this client is =
$200k-400k with a sales cycle of 3-6 months.=20
. Must have a record of quota over-achievement.=20
. Client prefers someone with experience selling for companies in any of =
the following areas: Application Management, Business Process =
Management, Performance Monitoring, Application Testing and/or =
Enterprise Application Integration vendors.=20
. Ideally, client would like to see candidates that have experience =
selling for any of the following companies or their competitors: BMC =
Patrol, Computer Associates, HP Openview, Veritas, Segue, Mercury =
Interactive, Empirix, Quest, IXIA, IBM Tivoli, Intersperse, Vitria, etc. =
. Very aggressive, seasoned, independent self-starters are a must.=20
. Need Hunters who can uncover and close new deals.=20
