In this market, our clients are setting VERY specific qualifications for =

COMPENSATION: CEO is looking for a dynamic sales person who is hungry =
for making a lot of money and is ready for a young start up. The =
compensation has 3 components :=20
Annual base ( $80-$ 90K); commission ( 80 - 120K) at plan, 2X for 100%+, =
4X for 120%+, no cap; equity ( 1 - 2% depending upon the experience).=20

COMPANY & PERSONAL SUMMARY: Company is based in the San Francisco Bay =
area with a development center in India. Company has about 20 people & =
rapidly growing. It is a fast growing software company focusing on Image =
Analysis for Cancer Diagnostic Market. Target customers are Hospitals, =
Pathology Labs, Biotech & Parma companies that are doing Pathological =
analysis of Cellular & Tissue data. Company has filed for patents & =
working with leading universities to address a fast growing market. The =
product is undergoing Beta tests & first customer shipment is scheduled =
in January. CEO is looking for a Director of Sales & Marketing who would =
like to get on the ground floor of a start up with proven management =
team, great Board & Advisory board, good technology & addresses a real =
problem. Initially this position will be reporting to the CEO. Has a =
potential to grow to VP if the performance is great, if not CEO will get =
a VP Sales down the road. His management style is proactive, hands on, =
customer driven, work hard, play hard, have fun & make a difference. =

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:=20

. Must have someone with a successful track record of selling in =
BioTech, Pharmaceutical companies & Clinical Market (Path Labs, =
Hospitals), performed well as a salesperson & ready to take the next =
leap in his/her career at a innovative start up. The candidate should =
have successful track record of direct & relevant sales and marketing =
experience of selling software in labs and hospitals.=20

. Must be able to list/outline 5 deals that you have helped develop and =
close with a Path Lab, Hospital, Pharmaceutical company, or BioTech =
company within the last five years.=20

. Must have a record of quota over-achievement.=20

. Ideal candidate should have a BS in Life Science (Micro biology or =
similar) & MBA (desired but not required).=20

. Would like someone who has previously worked for any of the following =
companies and/or their competitors: Chromavision, Applied Imaging, =
Universal Imaging, Tissue Informatics; Software companies : =
BioInformatics companies, IBM life Sciences, Oracle life science =
division; Microscope vendors : Olympus, Nikon, etc.; Service labs : =
Impath, Labcore, Quest Diagnostics; Instrumentation companies : Axon, =
Alpha Innotech, Amersham Bio, Becton Dickenson, etc.=20

. Very aggressive, seasoned, independent self-starters are a must. Need =
Hunters who can uncover and close new deals.=20
