Microsoft infrastructure.  An essential element in our funds active
management strategy is an IT  infrastructure that our portfolio companies
and partners can share. We  will offer Exchange, Sharepoint, Project
Central, SQL, .NET Dev tools,  wireless, etc.
 We are looking for the ideal individual to lead this new startup company.
Initially, this job will involve the setup and management of  this company
and infrastructure. Then you will be responsible for the  day to day IT
support of ten or twenty users on this infrastructure.  Longer term, you
will be involved in supporting more and more companies  in our portfolio.
 This is a unique position. We need someone who can both set up a work
station and develop new IT product strategies. You need to be able to
figure out why a meeting request did not format properly and also be  able
to provide input around a board room table on the best way to  apply new XML
technologies to help company boards improve corporate  governance. Initially
this will be a one person company. To a large  extent, how fast this company
grows will depend on you.
 You must be scary smart. You will be interacting daily with CEOs and  other
very successful entrepreneurs. You must also be exceptionally  reliable and
professional. You have to be a natural sales person as  well because you
will be responsible for closing new customers. You  must have the Microsoft
credentials.
