Position:   Plant Manager/Technical Director
Location:  New York /New Jersey Metro. Local Candidates only
Compensation:  Competitive salary and performance bonus.
Ownership:  Potential ownership based on performance.
Late stage startup, film extrusion coating and casting company is seeking a
hands on plant manager/technical director capable of managing manufacturing
and product development efforts .Experience casting film and coating films
on cloth, paper, film and foil substrates is essential. Technical knowledge
of polyurethane, polyolefin, polyester resins is necessary. Plant has state
of the art extrusion and converting equipment.
Must be technically capable of leading the company's new product development
efforts from the concept stage to plant scale up and commercialization. An
engineering or other technical degree is required an MBA combined with
previous plant management, production planning experience is a strong plus.
Candidate must be experienced at building a strong production team, be self
motivated and able to work closely with entrepreneurial senior managers.
