Subject: Opportunity - Colby Associates

Edwin H. Colby Associates, Inc.

Colby Associates is a small consulting company based in Ft. Mitchell, KY. Our
primary strength is our experience in and hands-on approach to helping our
customers implement lean manufacturing. We are primarily "shop rats" with a
strong desire to help manufacturing companies. We have people with doctorates,
grad and undergrad degrees. Most of us have been VP's and/or plant managers as
well as working our way through the functional manager positions - engineering,
materials, purchasing, operations, et al.

We work with a wide variety of large, global manufacturing companies such as
GE, Tyco and small firms such as Metalworking Group in Cincinnati.

Current need:

We have an active project to assist a client moving and integrating a recently
acquired firm into the Cincinnati operation. The project will start
immediately and is expected to run through February. Additional work at this
and/or other firms could be expected with us if the fit is there.

We are looking for a person who can essentially manage the relocation and
start-up effort. Some travel to the West coast will be necessary - probably 3
to 4 weeks during the course of the project. Production can not be stopped
during the move!

We need someone who has experience in starting up and/or moving an operation or
business. We prefer someone with hands-on lean manufacturing experience.
Doing, not just managing or overseeing. Experience with: assembly of large
mechanical equipment, manufacturing engineering, standard work, supplier
development and facilities would be very helpful.

Continued work after this project is successfully completed would normally
require significant travel.
