PURPOSE: Collects, interprets, describes, compares, matches, =
and documents analytical, descriptive, and evaluative data to support =
complex analytical and research related activities. =20

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Acts as a primary information source on critical data, =
reports, and research findings of a team of professionals. Recommends =
organization policies and procedures pertaining to process improvements =
within area of responsibility. Participates in program/department's =
planning activities. Collates, evaluates, and distills information from =
various sources and databases into preexisting or emerging formats to =
facilitate more complex analytical functions, including those involving =
forensic evidence.

Operates personal computer to enter data and maintain =
complex data files utilizing spreadsheet or database software programs. =
Proofreads submitted data and information verifying accuracy and making =
corrections. Generates complex documents and reports.

Sets up and maintains active file systems according to =
established procedures and standards. Transfers records for retention =
according to schedules. Generates and maintains confidential files and =
data.=20

Integrates and links diverse types of information and =
reports into coherent, concise, and actionable formats.

Arranges and types complex reports, correspondence, and =
forms. Proofreads documents for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and =
format. Performs arithmetical calculations to verify accuracy of data.=20

Administers correspondence and information dissemination =
control. Coordinates and tracks action items and approval of documents.

Gathers and compiles information for complex reports. =
Gathers information and answers questions based on requests.

Job Qualifications: =20
Bachelor's degree in Science or other relevant area of study =
and 6 months to one year of job-related experience. Directly related =
experience performing duties as described may substitute for the =
educational requirement. Must have experience in collating, evaluating, =
and distilling information from various sources and databases into =
reports and other formats to facilitate more complex analytical =
functions. Experience in report writing and proofreading is essential. =
Must be computer literate to create and maintain complex data fields; =
utilize spreadsheets, databases, word processing, and customized =
software programs; experience in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, =
PowerPoint and WordPerfect desired. Must have excellent oral and written =
communication skills. Must have the ability to interact and coordinate =
with FBI and other government officials managing a national security =
activity. Must be able to organize meetings, conferences and seminars. =
Must possess effective oral and written communications. Experience =
collecting, handling, and processing forensic evidence is desired. Must =
be able to pass and maintain FBI security background investigation and =
clearance. Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance is required.
