JOB DESCRIPTION
The company has territories open all over the United States (Upstate NY,
NYC, Indianapolis, St. Louis, San Francisco, Seattle, Nashville, Pittsburgh,
Oklahoma)
Responsible for leading sales activities for a set of enterprise-wide
Clinical Information Systems (CIS) applications within the assigned
territory. Develop an annual business plan that incorporates a strategy and
specific tactics for anticipating and creating customer demand for
enterprise CIS solutions, far in advance of the RFP process. Effectively
utilize various resources/individuals throughout the organization to achieve
goals. Effectively execute the business plan in conjunction with direct and
indirect account managers and stakeholders. Specific responsibilities
include strategic and tactical account planning, demonstrating product
capabilities to customers, assisting in training, customer profiling,
implementation, account maintenance, and local trade show management.
Represent headquarters in new product introductions and implementation of
sales programs. Provide feedback to headquarters on field concerns, issues
and requirements.


QUALIFICATIONS
Must live in one of the above mentioned territories. BA/BS required -
company policy (no exceptions made).
Knowledge of the healthcare information technology industry, products and
systems applications is an absolute must.
Experience selling to the C-level within the hospital with complete
confidence.
Previous sales or consulting experience in healthcare IT, specifically
clinical information systems (order entry, EMR, charting/documentation
systems, scheduling systems, etc.)
Proven tactical selling skills (presentation, quoting, demonstration and
closing).
Demonstrated financial and business analysis skills (background in finance
is a strong plus!).
Proven strategic planning skills and performance track record (documentation
will be requested).
Proven leadership skills in long-term sales cycles and matrix management
environments.
