> As a key member of the Utilities department you will be involved in
decisions affecting the safe, efficient and reliable operation of a chemical
plant.  Responsibilities include; improving the reliability of boilers, hot
oil heaters, cooling towers, wastewater treatment, compressed air systems,
and water treatment systems; involvement in Process Hazards Analyses;
controlling the Management of Change system and associated documentation;
providing technical assistance to department personnel regarding the
operation of the above equipment; project justification and interface with
engineering, idea generation through implementation, involvement in root
cause failure analysis, and energy management team participation.  This
position is critical to improving operational reliability of the Utilities
systems to enable the site to achieve world class performance.
> Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree in mechanical
engineering,
> 5-10 years experience in chemical, bulk pharmaceutical or refining
business with at least 3 years in a Utilities engineer capacity.  Good
communication and interpersonal skills with a strong motivation to improve
reliability and costs.
