When you wake up in the morning and head in to the office . . . who goes in ??  
The ?HR
Practitioner? or the ?Businessperson? ??
 
Which one are you?  There are people in the HR profession who will drive a 
stake into
the ground to demand recognition as HR people who want to get to the table.  
Then, there
are others who have become businesspeople who happen to be in HR.
 
Somehow HR needs to turn the corner and become who we ?really are? vs. asking to
go to a place in companies without being willing to broaden our own horizons.
 
Let?s get together and talk about this !!  This should be a discussion-filled 
HR Roundtable
topic for May.  Join us on Tuesday, 5/1/07 from 8:00am to 9:00am at Great Oaks.
(directions are listed at the end of this e-mail for you.)
 
I hope this gets you in the talking mood and desiring to attend the May 
Roundtable.  I realize
we all have incredibly full schedules and workloads.  With that in mind, I ask 
you for your first
hour of the month of May to attend the Roundtable so we can all learn from each 
other !!
 
RSVP right when you get this and let me know whether you can attend (or not).

Directions to the HR Roundtable at Great Oaks:
 
1.         From I-71:  Take I-275 West to Mosteller Road (Exit #44)
 
From I-75:  Take I-275 East to Mosteller Road (Exit #44)
 
2.         Turn left (south) onto Mosteller Road.
 
3.         Turn left at the 1st traffic light ? onto East Kemper Road.
 
4.         Entrance to Great Oaks facilities is 0.7 miles on the left at the 
2nd traffic light.
 
5.         Turn left onto Depot Drive and go straight past the gateway entrance.
 
6.         Go up to the Adult Workforce wing (attached to the Scarlet Oaks High 
School).
 
7.         Look for entrance # 3 on your left.  It is a large white number on 
the door.
 
8.         The Adult wing is across the road from the Center for Employment 
Resources building.
 
9.         Park in the lot near Entrance # 3 and if that is full, park in the 
lot next to the Center for
Employment Resources.
 
10.      Once you go into Entrance # 3, the HR Roundtable is located up the 
left stairway in
Room 200.  There will be a sign-in sheet in the Room.
