Position Profile - Exceptional People would like to introduce our
profitable, well-managed client who is the leader in the hosting ASP
industry.  Throughout last year' s market turbulence in the technology
sector, our client has maintained a leading position. That company,  the
leading enterprise application service provider (ASP) for high-growth
companies, provides hosted services that offer secure, integrated
application solutions to a growing list of top name customers. Hosted
services provide a secure platform for unlimited growth with a full suite of
integrated, best-of-breed business applications and services hosted over a
secure network - supported by world class IT talent, available 24 hours a
day.
Exceptional People, Inc. is retained to locate a Managing Director who will
focus on the east coast/mid Atlantic region for business development.    Our
client is pioneering the development of hosted internet-based solutions for
vertical markets.
Position Description - East Coast Managing Director
The East Coast Managing Director is responsible for business development and
all Professional services engagements/customers in Eastern Region of U.S.
for supported applications which include:  PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle, Siebel
and Ariba. This Managing Director also serves as Practice Director for SAP
East Region
Practice until the practice has grown sufficiently.   The Managing Director
has will have 4-6 director level reports, including the practice directors
for Oracle, PeopleSoft.  He/She will lead an organization of approximately
30 U.S. employees, and work with international units of the company as well
as 3rd party consultants as needed in project engagements. He/She will work
with Alliance partners to ensure overall project delivery on behalf of our
client.  The initial focus of the position will be 80% business development
and 20% project execution and managing existing client relationships.
Extensive travel is required.
Requirements and Qualifications
·        20+ years of IT and Consulting experience combined
·        10+ years Consulting experience
·        Successful professional services business development track record
(building a  $10M+ per year practice), with ability to interface, negotiate
and build relationships with all levels of management, including and
especially C-level executives;
·        2+ years hands on technical experience with business enterprise
systems
·        Practice management (P & L) experience in ERP Apps (PeopleSoft,
Oracle, SAP) with heavy emphasis on SAP
·        Multi-concurrent project experience in both large and small
implementations
Personal Traits
·        Experienced leader with outstanding team building and staff
development skills Demonstrated ability to handle the pressure of high
expectations in an entrepreneurial environment where focus and results are
essential.
·        Persuasive communicator who is able to articulate clearly in
written and verbal communications.
·        Experience in multiple industry verticals.
Key Technical Expertise:
·        Hands on experience implementing SAP
Education -  An undergraduate degree in Computer Science / Computer
Engineering from a leading university or other equivalent technical degree.
An advanced degree in particular a Masters in Business Administration is a
distinct plus.
Compensation - A highly competitive compensation package includes base
salary, incentive plan, and stock participation over the long term.
