Director of Sales. 
Cleveland, OH based company. Location of job would be ideally in 
Cleveland,
or in the NE near New York. 

JOB TITLE
Sales Director, Financial Services

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
.
Sell to C level executives to achieve goals and exceed quota 
responsibility
.
Prospect and develop relationships with potential customers to 
qualify and
penetrate an account and develop a strategy to demonstrate the 
company value
proposition
.
Following up on sales leads, developing leads and developing lists of
potential customers
.
Presentation development and delivery to all levels of customer 
management,
for each phase of the sales process
.
Establishing and maintaining industry contacts that lead to sales
.
Manage the execution of the sales process, from qualification through
closing, precisely and completely
.
Develop Financial Services sector plan, doing market research to 
determine
customer needs and providing information to the team, while creating 
account
strategies, determining market strategies and goals for the Software 
in the
Financial Services sector
.
Maintaining up to date understanding of industry trends and 
developments
that affect target markets
.
Working with sales support and the company's client services team to
establish a communication path with the customer to ensure ongoing 
sales
opportunities for products and services
.
Participate in sales forecasting and planning in an effective manner 
by:
-Consistently build and deliver on an accurate account and industry 
pipeline
-Researching, developing, and maintaining long and short range sales 
and
marketing plans
-Producing regular reports and final plans for Manager's approval
-Monitoring, analyzing, and communicating sales data, via contact 
management
software, to contribute to product/service planning
.
Travel within industry sector is required



WORK EXPERIENCE
.
The successful candidate for this position will have a proven track 
record
of significant over quota achievement and demonstrated career 
stability
.
Minimum of 5+ years related software selling experience with skills 
and
expertise in selling large dollar enterprise software applications and
solutions to the financial services sector
.
Knowledge and experience with the Governance, Risk & Compliance 
marketplace
and products highly desirable and a plus
.
Knowledge and experience with the Software as a Service marketplace 
and
products highly desirable
.
Consultative, value proposition/business case driven sales methodology
experience
.
Outstanding presentation development and delivery skills

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
.
High level of energy, self motivation, competitiveness, and desire to

Proficient in the use of desktop applications and sales force
